St. Paul's Community Garden
Located in the courtyard at the center of the Lower School building, the St. Paul's Community Garden is a space to nurture bodies and minds and foster educational opportunities for students in all divisions. The Community Garden features a pond, greenhouse, chicken coop, composting area, and native and non-native animals and plants. The garden enhances our integrated curriculum, provides summer activities, welcomes admissions tours, and furthers the Green Committee's goals.
The Community Garden supports all major Academic Excellence priorities set forth in the School’s Strategic Plan, including a more unified and connected curriculum from Kindergarten through grade twelve, and providing students with practical and authentic learning experiences as well as problem-based learning opportunities.
