The St. Paul's Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Edward Trusty Jr. as the interim head of school at St. Paul's School for Boys for the 2020–21 and 2021–22 school years. A highly respected leader and educator with Baltimore roots and a strong background in all-boys education, Ed joins St. Paul's from The Kinkaid School in Houston where he is currently the interim head and has held various administrative roles since July 2014.

Upper School Fall Sports Information

Upper School sports start on Monday, August 12. Attendance on this date is required for participation in fall athletics. 


Other Important Dates



  • All football candidates should communicate with Coach Ripley at
  • Equipment distribution
    • Friday, August 9 and Saturday, August 10 in the Kinsolving Gym from 8-10 a.m.
  • The Pre-season parent meeting is Saturday, August 10 at 10:30 a.m. Players will report to the Hartford 4-H Center on Sunday, August 11 at 4 p.m.


Cross Country

  • All Cross Country runners should communicate with Coach Culbertson at and report to Scheffenocker Room in the Athletic Center on Monday, August 12 at 8 a.m. for the start of practice.
  • Practice that week will be from 8 until 10 a.m. 



  • All students interested in playing soccer should communicate with Coach Washington to let him know you will be trying out.
  • Practice will be from 4 to 6 p.m. each day on Tullai Field. 



  • Students interested in playing volleyball should communicate with Coach Greenway at
  • Practice will be every day beginning August 12 from 4 to 6 p.m. in Pollock Gym.
