In honor of his retirement after 25 years teaching Middle School science at St. Paul's, family and friends of Howard F. "Howdy" Knipp III have established the Howard F. Knipp III Endowment at The St. Paul's Schools. Reflecting Howdy's lifelong commitment to the environment, the Knipp Fund will support faculty development and student activities in the Middle Schools of St. Paul's School and St. Paul's School for Girls, with an emphasis on the outdoors and the environment.

Application Camp for Rising High School Seniors

August 20-22, 2018

6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Tuesday - Thursday

Cost is $350. Space is limited and registration will be on a first come basis. Contact Jake Talmage,

jtalmage@stpaulsschool.org for more information. This week is open to rising seniors from any school.

St. Paul's offers one-week courses where students work with college counselors on topics including: The Common and Coalition Applications, Activity Sheets/Resumes, the Essay, Short Answers and Supplements to the Application. Student also meet individually with advisors to go over the process of applying to colleges and discuss specific college lists and deadlines.

One of the first schools in the country and the first in the Baltimore area to offer an intensive college Application Camp, St. Paul's program is a national model which has been presented at the National Association for College Admission Counseling annual conference .Dozens of schools as close as Baltimore and as far away as Texas and Florida have contacted the School for information about creating their own programs.
