In honor of his retirement after 25 years teaching Middle School science at St. Paul's, family and friends of Howard F. "Howdy" Knipp III have established the Howard F. Knipp III Endowment at The St. Paul's Schools. Reflecting Howdy's lifelong commitment to the environment, the Knipp Fund will support faculty development and student activities in the Middle Schools of St. Paul's School and St. Paul's School for Girls, with an emphasis on the outdoors and the environment.

St. Paul's School, founded in 1849, is a college-preparatory day school in the suburbs of Baltimore, Maryland, with a co-ed Lower School and all-boys' Middle and Upper Schools. Job Summary

St. Paul's School invites applications for the position of Upper School History Teacher for the 2019 - 2020 school year. Candidates will be able to teach across the spectrum of the social sciences - including World, European, and American history as well as elective courses - with preference being shown to experienced IB or AP teachers with a concentration in 20th Century history. Candidates must have a degree in history or a related social sciences field.

Student-centered teaching, coaching, and advising are key components of our academically rigorous, individually-focused teaching model; thus, faculty members are expected to participate in the athletic and extra-curricular life of the school as they live our mission.
