Middle School Starts Black Awareness Club
Posted 11/26/2018 02:00PM

In the fall of 2018 the Middle School announced the formation of the SP Middle School Black Awareness Club (BAC). The Upper School has had a BAC for more than 15 years and exists for the purpose of cultivating a support system for African-American students and students of color. The BAC has been known to be a brave space for students to discuss issues that involve, directly and indirectly, their African-American community, their educational experience at St. Paul's, and their role as global citizens.

The club meets every first Friday of the month during the Middle School club time. Members of the Upper School BAC participate as mentors to build relationships and camaraderie. Students discuss current events and life at St. Paul's.
