Family and friends of the Class of 2017 gathered on June 10 to celebrate the 2017 Commencement ceremony at St. Paul's School. Following the unveiling of the plaque in the Chapel that bears their names, the 91 members of the St. Paul's Class of 2017 processed to their seats outside Brooklandwood.
Following several years of careful study and due diligence, the Boards of Trustees of St. Paul's School for Girls and St. Paul's School have voted to unify our governance structure effective July 1, 2018. Unification means that one Board, made up of all current trustees from SPS and SPSG, will work for the mutual benefit of all students. This unification will help ensure the continued success of our Schools in a highly competitive and ever-changing independent school landscape.

Job Summary

The Upper School at St. Paul's - an International Baccalaureate school enrolling 350 boys in grades 9 - 12 - invites applications for the position of Upper School German Teacher for the 2018 - 2019 school year.

Candidates must be passionate and experienced and have a degree in German, with demonstrated excellence in the art of written communication and pedagogy.They must also be able to teach the entire high school German curriculum.Experience with International Baccalaureate, AP, or honors-level courses is preferred.The ideal candidate will have significant leadership experience in a foreign language department with multiple school partnerships and exchange programs.

Student-centered teaching, coaching, and advising are key components of our academically rigorous, individually-focused teaching model; thus, faculty members are expected to lead in the athletic and extra-curricular life of the school.
