News & Announcements

Family and friends of the Class of 2017 gathered on June 10 to celebrate the 2017 Commencement ceremony at St. Paul's School. Following the unveiling of the plaque in the Chapel that bears their names, the 91 members of the St. Paul's Class of 2017 processed to their seats outside Brooklandwood.
Following several years of careful study and due diligence, the Boards of Trustees of St. Paul's School for Girls and St. Paul's School have voted to unify our governance structure effective July 1, 2018. Unification means that one Board, made up of all current trustees from SPS and SPSG, will work for the mutual benefit of all students. This unification will help ensure the continued success of our Schools in a highly competitive and ever-changing independent school landscape.

Stadium renovation project underway
Posted 10/05/2017 08:00AM

On October 2, St. Paul's began a renovation of the grandstand and athletic facility at Tullai Field that will enhance the safety and comfort of athletes and spectators alike, and result in a modern, updated stadium.

Construction, weather permitting, will be complete by Spring Break. The project is completely funded by the contributions of generous donors to the School, and campus impacts will be minimal.

Highlights of the new stadium include:

  • Expanded and modernized grandstand seating;
  • A new and expanded press box that will support games on both St. Paul's and SPSG's athletic fields;
  • Equipment storage and locker rooms that will provide shelter for teams during weather events;
  • Plazas at the north and south corners of the field that provide informal viewing and gathering areas for spectators.

The stadium renovation is one of a number of recently completed or upcoming campus improvements, including the Nature Pavilion, the new Maintenance barn that will be occupied on December 1, and significantly increased lighting.
