St. Paul's School invites applications for part-time Middle School ice hockey coaching positions for the 2017 - 2018 school year. We are looking for a Head Coach and an Assistant Coach for our Middle School ice hockey team. This part-time position lasting roughly three months will begin on or about November 13, 2017 and end on or about February 22, 2018. Daily coaching hours for this Middle School team is from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM two to three times per weekday.

St. Paul's School offers students an opportunity to participate on any of 56 teams (fall through spring), covering grades 6-12. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: understanding the School's philosophy on athletics, supervising practices, games and team trips, taking all necessary measures to safeguard each participant, working within the basic framework of the head coach for that particular sport, instructing students on the proper techniques of the sport, supervises players before and after practice and planning and implementing an up tempo practice schedule. We are looking for someone who might be able to ride the bus with the students down to Mimi DiPietro ice rink in Patterson Park and back to St. Paul's School.

Previous Middle/High School coaching experience preferred. CPR/AED/First Aid instructor certification is desired.
