News & Announcements

Family and friends of the Class of 2017 gathered on June 10 to celebrate the 2017 Commencement ceremony at St. Paul's School. Following the unveiling of the plaque in the Chapel that bears their names, the 91 members of the St. Paul's Class of 2017 processed to their seats outside Brooklandwood.
Following several years of careful study and due diligence, the Boards of Trustees of St. Paul's School for Girls and St. Paul's School have voted to unify our governance structure effective July 1, 2018. Unification means that one Board, made up of all current trustees from SPS and SPSG, will work for the mutual benefit of all students. This unification will help ensure the continued success of our Schools in a highly competitive and ever-changing independent school landscape.

Falling - by Lexie Arendt
Posted 12/08/2014 10:00PM

As when a leaf, through gusts or calm weather

Detaches from the limb, and floats or drifts,

In unknown air falls the lost leaf further,

Confused the bright colors seem now to fade

As the journey with loud winds ripping through,

Delicate patterns diminished, alone

And wandering through open sky, losing

Hope of the others found, to endure the gusts

And persistence tried, searching for an end

In sight, yet fracture from stress uncertain

The leaf floats closer, others like it found

Upon the ground with others joined in battle

Rest, with peace at journey's end, endured

The autumn finished, transformation done

So seniors nervous in uncertainty,

Through Fall into new places now, knowing

Not where the choices lead, through darkness out

Into the light push they, accepting all,

Lingering, new journey almost begun.
