News & Announcements

The St. Paul's Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Edward Trusty Jr. as the interim head of school at St. Paul's School for Boys for the 2020–21 and 2021–22 school years. A highly respected leader and educator with Baltimore roots and a strong background in all-boys education, Ed joins St. Paul's from The Kinkaid School in Houston where he is currently the interim head and has held various administrative roles since July 2014.

Upcoming Events:


Before May 10 – Repaint a shed at Cylburn – flexible schedule

                This would be a great project for you and 2-3 other friends.  Contact Karen Goldstein to learn


May 11 – Trail Maintenance at Robert E. Lee Park  Meet from 9-noon and help clean up and cut back brush

May 11 – Market Day at Cylburn Arboretum 7 AM – 3 PM (can be broken into shifts)

                This is a LARGE event with multiple types of jobs (Serve as a cashier, manage water stations, set-up and take-down the event).  Many volunteers needed!  Contact Karen Goldstein for info and to sign up


May 25 – Mountain Club of Maryland - haul building materials in and out of a shelter in southern Pennsylvania.

               Meet at I-83 Shawan Road park-and-ride at 8 AM; Transportation provided from there; 7 hours! Contact Gwen Mahoney at

July 7-14 West Virginia Service Learning Trip – one spot has opened up!

Summer (June 18 – August 17) – Camp St. Vincent – Volunteer counselors work with children experiencing homelessness

Summer (July 15-19) – St. John’s Summer Camp – Be a counselor for elementary, inner-city kids

Ongoing Projects:


NEW My Brother’s Keeper – located in Irvington (about 20 minutes from school,) they provide hot meals, food and clothing vouchers, health care referrals, job placement, etc. 

                Volunteers at various times needed.  Contact Ms. Danise Dorsey at


Design/Build for the STEM Lab.  Individualized projects: 3-10 hours.  Internal Hours.
