make a difference

A gift to St. Paul’s is an investment in the people, values, and traditions that are the core of our mission. Your generosity today sustains excellence in the faculty and student body, in the classroom and on the playing fields, in chapel and community service activities, and in the performing and visual arts. Join the thousands of alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends whose past and present generosity has made an impact on our School, community, and world. We are St. Paul’s!

The Annual Fund: Essential operating support

The Annual Fund provides 8 percent of the School’s annual operating budget, picking up where tuition falls short. That’s 8 percent of every classroom, athletic team, and art production budget; 8 percent of every faculty salary, benefit package, and professional development grant; 8 percent of every scholarship; 8 percent of every student field trip and community service expense; and 8 percent of every electric, internet service, groundskeeping, and maintenance expense. Every family benefits, and every gift matters!

Capital and Endowment: Building our Foundation

Gifts impact the beauty of our campus and quality and competitiveness of our facilities. The Chapel, Athletic Center, Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools, Ward Center for the Arts, Squash Courts, and our abundant playing fields and green spaces testify to the generosity of our community. The St. Paul’s endowment, funded through gifts and invested for long-term growth, contributes more than $1 million per year to the School’s operating budget.

Nature pavilion

The 3,600-square-foot Nature Pavilion provides an outdoor learning space where our community can interact with nature, teach outdoor skills, explore problem solving, enhance teamwork, develop leadership skills, understand natural elements, and promote spirituality. This facility is used for science classes, field study, buddy gatherings between divisions, green woodworking, physical education, leadership training, outdoor assemblies and chapel services, alumni gatherings, class picnics and activities, social events, and more.

bequest and legacy Giving

Almost 150 individuals have included St. Paul’s in their estate plans or other deferred gift arrangement. Whether through a bequest, trust, insurance policy, or other creative arrangement, their generosity and dedication will sustain St. Paul’s traditions and mission for generations to come. The Brooklandwood Society has been established to honor alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends who have made this commitment to St. Paul’s .
