vs. Harford Technical High School
|Date:||December 10, 2018|
St. Paul’s kicked off a 3 game home stand Monday against Harford Tech. Prior to tip-off the Crusaders honored Senior forward Ziggy Reid, a Merrimack commit, for joining the schools 1,000 point club last week. Reid got off to hot start and proved his name belonged in elite company by scoring 15 of his game high 23 points in the first half. He and his fellow Senior and front court mate, Troy Barthelme (21 points), both registered a double/double on the night. St. Paul’s played great team defense to hold their opponent to just 4 second quarter points. The host team continued the intensity on the defensive end to limit the visiting cobras to 8 points in the third frame. The Crusaders used a number of different defenses to keep the visitors from Harford County on their heels in a great all around effort. St. Paul’s plays again at home this week on Wednesday evening against league foe Severn, and again in Brooklandville’s Pollack gym Saturday against McDonogh.
