Soccer - MS Blue
vs. Concordia Prep
|Date:||November 5, 2019|
Blue Soccer traveled to Concordia Prep yesterday and suffered a 0-1 loss. Four days off from the training pitch hut blue and they struggled to find their stride throughout much of the game. Although there were flashes of brilliance, blue failed to capitalize on any of their chances. Concordia caught a breakaway after a strong clearance off of a corner kick for St. Paul's.
Several players earned mention for their efforts on the field. Mason Kaplan put in a tremendous effort on the wings, several times slipping in behind the Concordia defenders. Ross Dildine shone up top for St. Paul's and Matthew Sola put together some clever combination play in the center of the field. Landan Sharoky worked hard throughout the game and won tackles against opponesnts nearly twice his size. It was a tough loss in the end, but the boys learned from the experience and look forward to their final game of the season.
Blue Soccer plays Friends away at 3:30 today. It promises to be a fantastic season finale, as the teams are evenly matched. Lets go St. Paul's!
