Kevin Benzing | profile
Kevin teaches 8th Grade History. He began his career at St. Paul's as the Edward Freeman Fellow and Rauch Intern in 2012. A recent graduate with both a BA and MA from Quinnipiac University, Kevin has over 80 hours of field placement in schools ranging from K-12, as well as an internship in 7th grade, Ancient Cultures. Kevin was a goalie on Quinnipiac’s Division I Lacrosse Team and served as captain his senior year. He will help coach the St. Paul’s goalies and defense for Lacrosse.
Rick Brocato | profile
Rick has been in the middle school for his entire career. He has worked at St. Paul's from 1987-1999 and returned in 2004-present, serving as a middle school science and history teacher, Grade Dean, advisor, admissions associate, and coach of football, basketball, and lacrosse. Currently, he teaches 6th grade Health Science, and is a Middle School football and lacrosse coach. He coached the Varsity Lacrosse team since 1989, and from 1995-1999 & 2006-2017 served as the Head Coach of the Lacrosse Program. He retired as the School’s all-time career wins leader with 241. Rick spent three years at Washington College ’82-’84 before transferring to Towson University ’85-’86. He graduated in 1986 with a B.A. in History and Education certificate from Towson State University, and did MLA coursework at Johns Hopkins. His wife, Tracey, teaches lower school science at Garrison Forest Girls School. Rick and Tracey have two children, Kate (SPSG 2015) and Jack (SP 2018).
