Spring 2008 Newsletter
The St. Paul's Summer Camp experience is
sure to meet and exceed the expectations of both parents and children.
Campers' self-esteem flourishes as they feel the bond of being a respected
member of this incredible camp community. Campers' experiences will
vary depending on their age and readiness. Whether a camper is enrolled
in our Day Camp, ages 3 1/2 - 10 , or has chosen a specialty camp
through our Sports and Specialty Camp program, ages 7-14, spending
time at St. Paul's will create a summer of fun and a lifetime of memories.
The Day Camp places campers in small, age appropriate,
self-contained groups lead by adult group leaders. The group leaders,
assisted by our specially-trained counselors, create a bonding experience
like no other day camp. Campers are exposed to a wide variety of activities
such as swimming, arts, sports, music, special events, and more. Social
skills and self esteem increase as campers interact in a safe and
nurturing environment. Whether in our air-conditioning indoor activity
centers or on the expansive playground or playing fields, campers
in the Day Camp benefit from the variety of experiences.
For those campers who have already developed a passion
for a particular discipline, St. Paul's Summer Camp offers Sports
and Specialty Camps which allow campers ages 7-14 to enroll in camps
designed with a specific activity in mind. The "Sports and Specialty " camps
are run by expert instructors and take place during three hour blocks
either in the morning or afternoon. Whether in Harry Potter, Drawing
and Painting for Beginners, Dance, Soccer, Ropes Course or Remote
Control Cars-to name a few- campers spend a significant amount of
time with adults, counselors, and fellow campers who have similar
interests. This environment creates an enriching environment that
fosters growth and camaraderie.
