Students from the summer after third grade until the summer before ninth grade participate in the five-week Summer Institute.
Elementary After School Program
Elementary grades students participate in this program one day per week. Sessions include reading, homework help, and sporting activities. Every Bridges student is partnered with a high school-aged volunteer tutor.
The Bridges Weekend Mentoring Project was started in 2009. The program provides each grade of Bridges students with an additional network of adults to assist them with future decisions regarding college, career, and life.
Middle and High School Guidance
In the fall, Bridges provides every family with a student in the fifth and eighth grades the opportunity for one-on-one middle and high school guidance.
High School Support
The Bridges Fellows Program connects high school students with paid summer jobs, school year mentoring and tutoring, exposure to and preparation for post-high school options, and opportunities for post-high school scholarships.
