Sabine is one of two Upper School German teachers and also teaches the Graphic Design class. She has moved here from Germany in 2007 and has been at St. Paul’s since 2010. She received her M.A. in Media Studies, Arts and Design and PE from the Philipps-Universität in Marburg, Germany as well as a M. A. in German Literature from the University of Cincinnati. Being a teaching assistant at UC started her career in education. While finishing her M.A. in Germany she worked as a substitute teacher at a German high school. In Germany Sabine has been an active member of the TSV Grünberg, a Basketball club, for which she played on a semi professional level for three years. At St. Paul´s she has been involved with the 7th grade Basketball team and has more recently moved on to coaching the 6th grade team. She enjoys running the German exchange with the other SP German teacher and husband, Nick Stollenmeyer. Outside of school she enjoys reading, cooking, sports as well as several pursuits in the arts.
