St. Paul's varsity baseball defeated McDonogh 12-3 on Tuesday afternoon behind some big bats and the superb pitching of Lamonte Wade. Wade allowed zero earned runs and only four hits, while totaling six strike outs in six innings of work. Wade's brother Jamal paced the offense with two doubles and four RBIs. Keifer Rawlings also had two hits, including a towering two-run home run in the second inning. St. Paul's now 6 - 8 in the league, and 12-10 overall, hosts Loyola on Thursday in a game that could clinch a playoff spot for either team.
