Head of School Search

In March 2012, the St. Paul’s School Board of Trustees appointed a 13-member Search Committee to identify and recommend a candidate to succeed Headmaster Tom Reid upon his departure in June 2013. The committee was chaired by St. Paul’s parent and Trustee Louis Sarkes.

“Because St. Paul’s and its programs are in great shape, we expect interest in our Headmaster position to be very strong,” noted Sarkes in announcing the search. “The Search Committee looks forward to meeting and interviewing some of the best educators and leaders from across the nation with the goal and expectation of finding an ideal match.”

Over the following months, the committee engaged the broader St. Paul’s community in discussions about leadership for the School’s future and communicated regularly about developments in the search process.
