L.A.-based comedy writer Mike Rosolio '00 to visit St. Paul's on March 25 as part of Scheffenacker speaker series

Mike Rosolio ’00, a Los Angeles-based comedy writer who most recently worked as a staff writer for the NBC comedy series Sean Saves The World starring Sean Hayes, Megan Hilty and Thomas Lennon, will be visiting the Upper School on Tuesday, March 25, as the second author in the Scheffenacker speaker series. Mike will be talking to the freshmen English classes about writing scripts for television shows and how the archetypes used by writers today started with classical forms. Mike will be speaking in the library throughout the day and having lunch with interested students in the Writing Center.

After St. Paul's, Mike graduated from the University of Maryland, where he toured with the Terrapin sketch comedy team, Sketchup. After training and performing at The Second City Conservatory in Chicago, he was Head Writer/Cast Member in the revival of National Lampoon’s Lemmings and the 16th Editor in Chief of The National Lampoon. He's also written and directed the CBS Sketch Showcase and had a short film, Take A Seat, in competition at the Hollywood Film Festival.
