Financial Aid
All financial aid at St. Paul's School is need-based. St. Paul's helps as many families as possible in the quest for an independent school education through funds from the School's endowment, foundation grants, special gifts, and School revenues. Admissions decisions are made prior to and separate from decisions about financial aid. All materials supplied by families to the Financial Aid Committee are kept strictly confidential. Applicants for financial aid should request the necessary aid forms from the Admissios Office. Prospective families requesting aid should complete the application by January 15 (applications for current families on aid are due December 31) to be assured of full consideration when the Financial Aid Committee meets in February. Families already receiving assistance are automatically sent renewal forms, but they must meet all deadlines and continue to qualify for aid to have their grants renewed.
Financial Support
St. Paul's School depends on charitable gifts to sustain its strong academic, athletic, and artistic curriculum in addition to improving campus facilities. Income from donations, together with tuition, makes up the bulk of the School's annual revenue. Parents, faculty and staff, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents, and friends are asked to contribute to Annual Giving and other special fundraising campaigns. These drives support programs that are not sustained through the annual operating budget, such as building projects or endowment. The Development Office coordinates all fundraising activities. Contributions to the School are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
